‘Deal’ Making Babes

Thursday, September 28th, 2006

Deal or No Deal: Click to watchMeet Claudia, Leyla, Tameka and Kasie or #1, #13, #21 and #16 as they’re more well known on the hit show “Deal or No Deal.”

The four sexy models, who normally say very little on the game show, had a lot to say about their growing popularity during a fall fashions photo shoot for In Touch magazine.

“People come up to me all the time like ‘are you lucky Leyla #13 or unlucky 13, whichever way you look at it,” says Leyla, one of the show’s resident hotties, “it’s really exciting, people actually noticing us and recognizing us.”

Though they may just hold numbered briefcases that may or may not contain anywhere from $.01-$6,000,000, the women are definitely gaining notoriety for the somewhat simple job.

“I’m a big time gambler, I go to vegas a lot, I’m at the tables and they’re like ‘#1 Claudia, deal or no deal? It seems like no matter what people find a way to incorporate the phrase … it’s following me everywhere.”

The new season starts Monday.

Vintage Paris and Nicky

Thursday, September 28th, 2006

Paris and Nicky HiltonParis and Nicky Hilton went on a vintage clothes shopping spree last week at Sielian’s Vintage Apparel in LA’s trendy West Melrose shopping district.

The hotel heiresses racked up $6000 worth of the boutique’s sexy form-fitting frocks from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Paris alone bought 35 dresses from Sielian’s immaculate collection of previously owned one-of-a-kind gowns.

The trendy shop owned by Sielian Lie and Tsutomu Carton has been opened for just one month and is already a hot spot for Hollywood’s hippest trendsetters. Everyone from Keira Knightley to the Olsen Twins are coming in to check out the store’s latest finds.

We’re told Paris, who is known to call stores ahead of time and have them pull outfits for her before she arrives, tried on nearly everything she bought. Nicky played stylist and pointed out ensembles that she knew Paris would think are “hot.”

A source tells TMZ that the sisters were very polite and not the divas you would think they’d be.

While on their retail rendezvous, Paris received at least a half dozen calls, while Nicky continuously emailed friends on her blackberry.

Nicky liked one of her purchases so much that she wore the white dress shown here to a Teen Vogue party the next day and Paris swore she would be back for more after returning from her trip to Germany.

God knows 35 dresses is barely enough to get a celebutante through the week!

Sielian’s Vintage Apparel is located in West Hollywood at 9013 Melrose Avenue.

Gwen’s Got a Brand New Bag

Friday, September 15th, 2006

Gwen Stefani teamed up with Le SportSac creator Tim Schifter to create a new wave of purses titled “The L.A.M.B. Love Collection.” The trend-setting star unveiled her 33 purses to a small group of retailers and editors in New York last Thursday .
Gwen Stefani's new purse line
The purses are inspired by the trunks her band uses while on tour, and Gwen’s love of rasta colors and old English lettering weave their way through the entire collection, as seen on Fashion Week Daily. Naturally, the bags are super cool, but unfortunately pretty pricey as well at $300-$700 a pop.
