Courtney Cox, 46 Looking Good As Ever!

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011

It’s wasn’t just the sun heating up the Hawaii set of Cougar Town Wednesday. While filming, Courteney Cox took a dip in a teeny-weeny two-piece

“Being 40-something is fantastic,” she told last year. “All the confidence I wish I had when I was 30, now I have it.”

She credits plenty of gym time for her fab physique. “Some people might not want to show the parts of them that aren’t the best but I work out really hard,” says Cox, who has trained with celeb fitness guru Tracy Anderson. “I try really hard.”

It’s paying off. Also taking notice? Costar and rumored beau Brian Van Holt. During the Hawaii shoot, the pair had separate rooms but “Brian went in and out of her suite four times a day,” a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now).

(A Cox pal insists the two are just friends.)

Padma Lakshmi, 40, Shows Off Post-Baby Body

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

Hot mama!

One year after giving birth to daughter Krishna Thea, Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi flaunted her fit post-baby bod in a tiny two-piece while vacationing in the Bahamas Sunday.

How did the 40-year-old model-turned-author snap back into shape so quickly?

“I drink a ton of water,” she told at theTrue Grit premiere in NYC last December. “Water really flushes everything out.”

Lakshmi, who’s currently in the midst of a nasty custody battle with venture capitalist Adam Dell, also offered some sage advice for other moms struggling to shed the last few pregnancy pounds.

“Just try to enjoy the food but don’t overdo it,” she said. “Be healthy. Your body will thank you.”

Bethenny Frankel: Obsessed With Dieting

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

At 115 pounds, Bethenny Frankel has built a hugely successful line of healthy lifestyle products aptly titled SkinnyGirl. And yet the 5-foot-6 reality star maintains an everything-in-moderation, guilt-free approach to eating.

But for the new mom — she has ten-month-old daughter Bryn with sales exec hubby Jason Hoppy, 39 — giving up the guilt was a lifelong battle.

In the new issue of Us Weekly, the Bethenny Ever After star, 40, opens up about the obsession with dieting, which first started at age eight — when her mom sent her to a New York obesity clinic — and continued well into her thirties.

“I spent my entire life being obsessed with dieting,” she tells this week’s issue (on stands now). “Bingeing and then fasting or starving. Forbidding everything. That’s how I used to be: up and down 5 pounds every single day, to the extremes. My metabolism was totally wrecked.”

Among the “5,000 diets” Frankel tried: Atkins, the Scarsdale diet, the Beverly Hills diet, and the cabbage-soup diet.

“I would go buy magazines just to see what the new diet was and rip it out,” admits the star, who also battled an addiction to exercise.
